About Airbus Helicopters

Airbus Helicopters is the helicopter manufacturing division of Airbus. The company is a leading producer of civil helicopters and the most prolific manufacturer in the industry in terms of revenue and turbine helicopter deliveries. Airbus Helicopters provides helicopter spare parts, tools, and ground support equipment to civil, commercial, and military aircraft. The company’s main production facility and headquarters are at Marseille Provence Airport in Marignane, France, and a second main production facility is in Donauworth, Germany. Additional production plants are in Brazil, Australia, Spain, Romania, and the United States. The company was founded in 1992 as Eurocopter Group through the mergers of Aerospatiale and DASA and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus.

Products, Services, and Platforms

Civil Aircraft: Airbus’ range of civil helicopters is designed to fly safely in all conditions. They offer a broad range of choices including intermediate single helicopters, light wtin, medium, super medium, and heavy aircraft.
Military Aircraft: Airbus Helicopters designs and manufactures a number of light, medium, heavy, and specialized military helicopters. Light helicopters include the H125M, H135M, and H145M. Medium helicopters include the AS565 MBe and H160M. Heavy helicopters include the H215M and H225M helicopters. Airbus’ specialized military helicopters are the Tiger and NH90.
